Briggs Stratton Partners with Summerfest

MILWAUKEE, WI (June 1, 2022) – Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance and Briggs & Stratton are partnering together before and during the festival with a combined commitment to beautify the grounds, positively impact the youth in our community through admission promotions, provide a world-class lineup, and more.

For the second consecutive year, Briggs & Stratton is connecting its support for nonprofit organizations and dedication to outdoor beautification, with an employee volunteer event on June 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., at Henry Maier Festival Park, home to Summerfest.  The volunteers will be planting hundreds of flowers throughout the festival grounds, prior to the first cultural event of the season, Pride Fest, June 2-4, 2022.

Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF), producer of Summerfest, continues to fulfill its nonprofit mission of bringing the community together and providing a showcase for performing arts, activities, and recreation to the public, through music and special events.

Briggs & Stratton and Summerfest are encouraging the community to participate in the Briggs & Stratton Mary Lou’s Closet Supply Drive on Saturday, June 25 from Noon – 3:00 p.m., by providing needed hygiene supplies for youth in area public schools. The first 1,500 fans that donate NEW deodorant, feminine hygiene products, and/or socks, with a total minimum value of $10, will receive one (1) free admission ticket, valid for the day and time of the promotion only. All donations benefit United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County’s community schools.

During Summerfest, the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard Stage with Miller Lite & CBS 58 will bring fans together to celebrate live music, with national headliners including Alessia Cara, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Mt. Joy, Latin Music Day on Friday, July 8 with Making Movies and Gilberto Santa Rosa, and many more.

On June 25, Briggs & Stratton will continue a longstanding tradition of hosting Employee Appreciation Day at the Big Backyard Stage. On this day, Briggs & Stratton will celebrate its employees and their families, by inviting them to enjoy live music, food and beverage, and VIP hospitality experiences, resulting in a unique perk for the Brigg & Stratton team at Summerfest.
