Gego y Nony

Gego y Nony are brothers who sing Reggaeton/Latin Urban music. Gego was born in Puerto Rico and moved to the United States when he was 5 years old to get surgery on his conjoined fingers. His family decided to make Milwaukee home and a few years later, Nony was born. With deep Puerto Rican roots Gego and Nony always had a love for music, especially reggaeton. At the same time, their family highly valued education which made it challenging to pursue a music career versus the typical corporate route. Music was a hobby they continued through high school where they performed at venues with their friends as fans. They continued to envision themselves doing more and last year during the pandemic, they made a choice to focus on their dreams making music more than a hobby. Some of the first fans were young students from the schools Gego worked at which inspired Gego y Nony to keep their music clean. After a year of hard work and dedication the duo was able to complete their first major project, an official music video for their fan’s favorite song “Frontea”. They also followed this accomplishment with the release of their first album Tiempo. Tiempo, which means “time” in spanish, is a bilingual album written and produced around the concept of time and love. Gego y Nony’s music if for EVERYONE, it is here, it is now.
