Summerfest 2020 Canceled

All of us – our staff, vendors, sponsors and partners – are the stewards of the incredible festival experience that fans have come to love and, together, it is our honor to be responsible for this storied tradition.  Please know that our team explored countless options to ensure the Summerfest tradition could continue in 2020 in a safe and healthy manner. Yet, given the uncertainty surrounding large gatherings in these unprecedented times, we cannot in good conscience proceed with the festival this year.

Ticket Refund Information

Thank you for your support of Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance. Only tickets purchased from Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. / Summerfest are available for refund. If you are holding a ticket from another source, please return to the point of purchase for more information. If you cannot find the answer to your question(s) below please email info@summerfest.com.

 General Admission Tickets, Power Passes, and Multi-Day Passes

Options for Summerfest 2020 admission tickets:

• Hold on to your tickets for Summerfest 2021

All 2020 general admission tickets will be honored, including digital tickets, U.S. Cellular Power Passes, multi-day passes or promotional tickets received through a Summerfest partner or as a donation.

• Request a refund
  • Preferred Method if you purchased on Summerfest.com: Complete this form
  • Call the Summerfest Box Office at (414) 273-2600, Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
  • If you purchased festival tickets on Ticketmaster.com view the request refund link in your account. 

Only tickets purchased from Summerfest.com or Ticketmaster.com will be eligible for refunds. All refunds should be requested at the original point of purchase. There are no refunds available for donated or complimentary tickets provided by Summerfest or one of our partners in a promotion. All refunds must be initiated by July 17, 2020. Please have your ticket order number available for the refund process. 

 American Family Insurance Amphitheater Headliner Tickets

Information surrounding concert tickets purchased for concerts at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater are available via our show Ticket FAQ page. If you have any questions, please email info@summerest.com. 

There are several concerts that have not announced new dates; we will provide an update for all Amphitheater concerts for all Summerfest 2020 soon.

 BMO Harris Pavilion Headliner Tickets

All tickets purchased for headliners performing at the BMO Harris Pavilion for concerts during Summerfest will be automatically credited to the card used to purchase the tickets by Ticketmaster. Concerts that will be automatically refunded include: Goo Goo Dolls, Barenaked Ladies, Styx, Charlie Wilson, KC & The Sunshine Band and The Psychedelic Furs. If you purchased tickets with cash at the Box office you will need to return to the box office with the tickets for your refund. Box office hours are Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. Please allow up to three weeks for your refund.

 Advanced Parking Passes

Options for Summerfest 2020 Parking passes:

• Hold on to your parking passes to use on any date for Summerfest 2021
• Request a refund
  • Preferred Method if you purchased on Summerfest.com: Complete this form
  • If you purchased parking from the Box office. Please return to the Box office with your parking pass to request a refund. Box office hours are Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
  • If you purchased parking on Ticketmaster.com view the request refund link in your account to initiate a refund. 

Only parking purchased from Summerfest.com or Ticketmaster.com will be eligible for refunds. All refunds should be requested at the original point of purchase.  Business Group Sales Tickets

Summerfest is grateful to the many companies that support Summerfest’s mission through the Business Group Sales program.  Please email bgs@summerfest.com with details of your order and a member our team will be in touch to discuss your options.

 Summerfest Gift Cards

No refunds are available for Summerfest gift cards. Gift cards do not expire and are valid on the grounds or on the Summerfest Online store. Gift cards are good for purchases of Summerfest admission tickets, food and beverages, cool Summerfest merchandise, and American Family Insurance Amphitheater concert tickets (purchased at the Summerfest Box Office).

Please note that gift cards that were part of the Power Pass + Gift card promo will be deactivated if a refund is requested for the Power Pass + Gift Card deal.
