YOUR BEST ROUTE

from the north

From the North

Take I-43 south, exit at I-794, then take the Plankinton Ave. exit and turn right, proceed east on Michigan St. and follow signs to one of the many parking lots in the area. Or take I-43 south, exit at Highland Blvd. and proceed east to 6th St., head south on 6th St. to Michigan St., take Michigan St. east to Water St. and follow signs to one of the parking lots in the area or park downtown and take the shuttle directly to the North Gate.


from the south

From the South

Follow I-94 north and exit at Lapham /Greenfield. Go east to 1st St., head north and follow the Summerfest signs to one of the many parking lots in the area. Or continue north and exit Plankinton Ave. or Michigan St. to park downtown and take the shuttle bus directly to the North Gate.


from the west

From the West

Take I-94 east and exit at St. Paul/James Lovell. Follow St. Paul east to Water St. and follow the signs to one of the many parking lots in the area. Or from I-94, take the I-43 north ramp, to exit at Kilbourn Ave., park downtown and take the shuttle directly to the North Gate.

 

MILWAUKEE COUNTY TRANSIT SYSTEM

Milwaukee County Transit System offers easy options that get you straight to the gates of Summerfest. Catch a Milwaukee County Transit System Freeway Flyer from a Park-Ride lot. Or, take advantage of the Downtown Shuttle; ride a regular bus or park downtown and catch the shuttle along Wisconsin Avenue to the Summerfest North Gate. TRAIN SERVICE TO MILWAUKEE

Amtrak Hiawatha Service

Coming to Summerfest from Chicago or Racine/Kenosha? This summer, jam without traffic by taking the train with Amtrak Hiawatha Service between Chicago and Milwaukee. Amtrak Hiawatha offers easy access to Summerfest from the downtown Milwaukee Intermodal Station. You can catch the train from Chicago Union Station, Glenview in the northern suburbs and Sturtevant in the Racine/Kenosha Area. Visit AmtrakHiawatha.com for details.


BUS AND SHUTTLE SERVICE

Bus and shuttle service is provided from many different operators during Summerfest, including:

  • Wisconsin Coach Lines/Coach USA Milwaukee (Waukesha and Racine/Kenosha)
  • Ozaukee County Express
  • GO Riteway (Washington County)
  • Badger Bus (Madison)

 

 

PARK WITH EASE AT SUMMERFEST!

Parking lots open daily at 9:00 am. Preferred Parking is only $20 and Exclusive Parking is only $35. All parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pre-paid parking passes for specific dates during Summerfest may be purchased online, at the Summerfest Box Office and via phone.

Motorcycle Parking

Free motorcycle parking is located near the Mid Gate, sponsored by Harley-Davidson®, on a first-come, first-served basis.
