Top 3 Finalists Emerge in Naming Competition
MILWAUKEE – March 3, 2010 – Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are excited to announce the final three finalists in the competition to name and brand Milwaukee’s new Alternative and Modern Rock music festival. This new music festival will kick off the summer festival season on Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5 at Henry Maier Festival Park. FM102/1 is the presenting radio sponsor for the festival.

Summerfest Adds Second Show Date for Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers with Special Guest ZZ Top
MILWAUKEE – March 2, 2010 – Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are excited to announce a second concert date has been added to feature Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers along with special guest ZZ Top. Now, the acts will perform at the Marcus Amphitheater on Friday, June 25th and Saturday, June 26th at 7:30pm. Summerfest Selects Eppstein Uhen for South End Redevelopment Project
MILWAUKEE — February 15, 2010 – Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are pleased to announce the selection of Eppstein Uhen Architects as the design firm for a redevelopment project consisting of 22 acres on the south end of the Henry Maier Festival Park. The scope of the project will not include renovating the Marcus Amphitheater. This selection is subject to the successful completion of contract negotiations between Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. and Eppstein Uhen Architects.
