For Summerfest 2010, the price of an adult ticket purchased at the gate weekdays (Noon - 4:00 PM) will be $8. Evening and weekend adult admission tickets purchased at the gate will be $15. Children's and Senior's tickets are $3.

Grounds Stages

Freeway Flyer Service
For a fast and easy way to the Summerfest Mid-Gate, park free at any of the 11 Park-and-Ride Lots (noted below) and hop on a Freeway Flyer on one of the 9 routes to Summerfest.

Fares
Flyer round-trip cash fares: $6 for adults, $3 for children (under 12), senior citizens and people with disabilities with proper I.D. Pay when boarding to Summerfest. No return-trip fare. Exact fare required. Sixteen regular MCTS bus routes serve downtown Milwaukee from all parts of Milwaukee County. All of these routes connect with the shuttle.

Weekday Schedule
11:30 am - 5:00 pm: Half-hour service from Park-Ride Lots and Summerfest.
5:00 pm - 12:30 am: Fifteen minute service from Park-Ride Lots and Summerfest. Last trip leaves lots at midnight.

Weekend Schedule (Saturday & Sunday)
11:30 am - 12:30 am: Service is every 15 - 20 minutes from Park-Ride Lots and Summerfest. Last trip leaves lots at midnight.

Downtown Park & Shuttle Program to Summerfest
The Milwaukee County Transit System Shuttle Bus Routes offer excellent access to the Summerfest grounds. Ride the Downtown Shuttle directly to the Summerfest North Gate. Shuttle buses run every 5 to 10 minutes during all hours and days of Summerfest. Shuttle service hours are from 11:30 am until 12:30 am. Buses operate in both directions along Wisconsin Avenue. When traveling to Summerfest, the Shuttle stops between N. 6th Street and N. Jackson Street, then proceeds directly to the North Gate. Stops are made at all bus stops marked with the Summerfest smile logo. Roundtrip fare is $3 for adults, $1.50 for children under 12 and for seniors. Pay full amount of fare when boarding bus to Summerfest.

Ride FREE to Summerfest! The Shuttle makes stops at Hooligan's, BBC, Yield, Vitucci's, Cans Bar, Judges, Twisted Fork, Club Brady, Hi-Hat, and Nomad, and continues on to the South Gate of the Summerfest Grounds. It’s the perfect road trip! Visit the Harley-Davidson Museum® and then ride the shuttle to Summerfest for FREE. Just show your Museum membership card or a valid receipt from the Museum, Motor® bar and restaurant, Cafe Racer® or The Shop. The Museum shuttle runs 7/3-7/5, Noon - 8pm. TRAIN SERVICE TO SUMMERFEST

Amtrak Hiawatha Service

Coming to Summerfest from Chicago or Racine/Kenosha? This summer, jam without traffic by taking the train with Amtrak Hiawatha Service between Chicago and Milwaukee. Amtrak Hiawatha offers easy access to Summerfest from the downtown Milwaukee Intermodal Station. You can catch the train from downtown Chicago Union Station, Glenview in the Northern suburbs and Sturtevant in the Racine / Kenosha Area. Along with 7 round-trips daily (6 on Sunday), Amtrak Hiawatha Service also offers a special Midnight Train back to Sturtevant, Glenview and Chicago on Fridays and Saturdays during Summerfest. Plus, you can catch the free Midnight Train Shuttle Bus that will take you from the festival grounds back to the train station. Badger Bus
Badger Bus will be offering special service from Madison to Summerfest during the entire festival, from June 25 through July 5. Departures on those days will be from the Madison Memorial Union stop at 9:40 am, 12:10 pm, 2:40 pm and 5:10 pm. Departures from the Madison Badger Bus Depot at 2 South Bedford Street will be at 10:00 am, 12:30 pm, 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm. The bus will drop off at the WISC Coach Stop at East Michigan and Jackson Street which is a short four block walk to the North Gate of the Summerfest Grounds. Return trips from Milwaukee to Madison will depart from the same location at 8:45 pm and 12:15 am. Wisconsin Coach Lines / Coach USA Milwaukee

Waukesha Service
The shuttle originates from the Nagawaukee Park-Ride in Delafield (Hwy 83 and I-94). Other pick-ups include the Meadowbrook Park-Ride lot (I-94 & County Highway G) and Goerke's Corners Park-Ride lot (I-94 and Barker Road). Goerke's overflow will be located at the old West Pointe Cinema, one block East on Barker Road. The shuttle drop-off and pick-up at Summerfest is located west of the Mid-Gate on Chicago Street. The shuttle operates everyday of Summerfest beginning at 11:00 am with the last shuttle departing Summerfest at 12:15 am. Round-trip tickets are $9 and purchased at point of origin. New this year, round-trip tickets for children (up to 12) are $4, good until 3:00 pm daily. Racine & Kenosha Service
Wisconsin Coach Lines will offer eight (8) northbound and southbound trips weekdays, and four (4) weekend trips per day, as part of their regular service to serve Racine and Kenosha Summerfest attendees. Call (262) 542-8861 or www.wisconsincoach.com for route and fare information.

Ozaukee County Express Bus
Ozaukee County Express provides half hourly service from 11:30 am to 12:30 am each day starting at the Saukville Wal-Mart. The bus will depart 13 minutes later from the Target/Home Depot (Hwy 60). On Weekdays from 5:15 pm to 7 pm, service increases to every 15 minutes. Buses leave the Summerfest grounds every half hour on the half hour.

Please Note: No service from Port Washington, Grafton or Cedarburg Park-Ride lots.

Washington County Area Summerfest Shuttle
Riteway Bus Service/Washington County

Park your car for FREE and ride the bus from the Washington County Fair Grounds or the Life Church Parking Lot (Located in the Germantown Center, Mequon Road and Squire Drive). Buses will run every hour beginning at 11:00 am from the Washington County Fairgrounds. Buses will run every hour from the Life Church Parking Lot starting at 11:30 am. Return service from the Summerfest grounds is offered from 4:00 pm until 12:30 am. The Washington County Summerfest Shuttle stops at the North Gate. From the West:

Take I-94 east and exit at 35th Street. Follow St. Paul Avenue east to Water Street and follow the signs to one of the many parking lots in the area. Or follow I-94 further east, exit at James Lovell Street, park downtown and take the shuttle directly to our North Gate (see Park & Shuttle Program).

From the North:

Take I-43 south and exit at McKinley Boulevard. Proceed south on 6th Street to Michigan Street. Take Michigan Street east to Water Street and follow the signs to one of the many parking lots in the area. Or park downtown and take the shuttle bus directly to our North Gate (see Park & Shuttle Program).

From the South:

Follow I-94 north and exit at Lapham/Greenfield. Go east to 1st Street and head north to follow the signs to Summerfest. Or continue north and exit at Kilbourn Avenue to park downtown and take the shuttle bus directly to our North Gate (see Park & Shuttle Program).

From the state of Michigan:

Take the Lake! It's fast, fun and easy to take the new High-Speed connection from Muskegon, Michigan directly to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You can bring your own car, motorcycle or bike with you on the ferry. The ride only takes 2 1/2 hours and you'll be dropped off just 3 miles away from the Summerfest grounds! Motorcycle and Bicycle Parking

Festival attendees riding their bicycles or motorcycles to Summerfest can park their bikes free of charge. Bicycle parking will be offered at the Summerfest Bike Park near the Mid-Gate, and motorcycle parking will be provided free of charge at the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Parking Lot, also located near the Mid-Gate. Patrons are required to secure their bicycles at all times.

Re-entry Policy

Wristbands to leave and re-enter the festival are available at all gate areas from Noon until 6:30 pm daily. Re-entry wristbands will be valid for a single, same day re-entry until 7:00 pm. No re-entry wristbands will be issued after 6:30 pm and no re-entries after 7:00 pm.

There are specific items that cannot be brought into Summerfest. Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. reserves the right to alter carry-in policies at any time. Cameras and Recording Devices

Performers and Summerfest management strictly prohibit flash photography, video and audio recording in the stage areas. Your equipment may be subject to confiscation. If you have a reason for photographing a specific performer you MUST receive written permission from the artist prior to bringing your equipment on the grounds. You should also obtain an on-site contact for any day-of-show credentials. Artist credentials do NOT include admission to the festival. Professional equipment is NOT permitted on the grounds without prior written permission from artist management. If you are interested in documenting the festival grounds and crowd shots, please contact Summerfest in advance. Photography requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis PRIOR TO opening day. Requests not submitted PRIOR TO opening day of the festival CANNOT be guaranteed. Please specify your publication and include a contact name and number for verification.
