Naima Adedapo

Naima Adedapo was one of the Top 11 finalists from American Idol Season 10. She has toured the United States, Canada and the Philippines on the American Idol Tour and has made appearences on Jay Leno, Regis and Kelly, Good Morning America, The Today Show and Entertainment Tonight. A native of Chicago, Naima graduated with honors from the UWM Peck School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. She is also experienced in theater, having performed the lead in stage productions such as For Colored Girls, West Side Story, Crowns and more. Since the age of 13-years-old she has taught Stepping, African Dance, and Hip Hop to youth for several different community outreach centers and schools all over Milwaukee. Since becoming an American Idol Finalist Naima has been focusing on performing, writing and developing her own unique sound and artistry. Naima has a deep belief in providing support to a number of charity partners. Most recently, she is proud to serve as a celebrity ambassador for Camp Hometown Heroes, a national free summer camp for children of fallen U.S. service members. Naimas surprise visit to the 2013 camp will be included in an upcoming documentary film about Camp Hometown Heroes.
