Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are excited to announce the seventh major show slated for Summerfest 2014. Fall Out Boy and Paramore with special guest New Politics will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on Saturday, July 5.

The supergroups will hit the road for a must-see concert event this summer. Aptly titled the MONUMENTOUR, the bands will showcase their trademark brand of fiery, hard-charging rock music across the United States. With a string of Top 10 singles, platinum albums and countless sold out shows around the globe, both bands have proven that they deliver fans the absolute best live concert experience around. Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 1 at 10:00 am and include Summerfest admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Summerfest Box Office, Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, Walmart stores, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 1.800.745.3000 (live Ticketmaster Agent) or 1.866.448.7849 ("Ticketmaster Express" automated phone line). Patrons may also utilize "ticketfast" at Ticketmaster.com to print barcoded concert tickets from home. Convenience fees may be added to all purchases.

PLEASE NOTE: To purchase Marcus Amphitheater tickets in person at the Summerfest Box Office on the day of the on sale, patrons must visit the temporary location at the Mid Gate on the corner of Harbor Drive and Chicago Street. Parking will be available across the street.

Summerfest fans get access to "Stay Connected" Pre-sales before tickets go on sale to the general public when they subscribe to receive Summerfest News email alerts at Summerfest.com, "Like" Summerfest on Facebook or follow Summerfest on Twitter. The MONUMENTOUR pre-sale will run Friday, February 28 from 10:00 am – 10:00 pm CST or until pre-sale inventory has been exhausted.

Fall Out Boy most recently released their latest album SAVE ROCK AND ROLL. The album is the gold certified fifth studio album from the GRAMMY-nominated band and features the multiplatinum hit "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)" and the new hit "Alone Together." SAVE ROCK AND ROLL debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 and #1 on iTunes in 27 countries when it was released in April. This is the band's second #1 debut; Platinum selling "Infinity On High" topped the chart in 2007 which followed multi-platinum breakthrough album "From Under The Cork Tree" released in 2005.

After forming Paramore ten years ago in Nashville, the 3x-Grammy-nominated rock group released their fourth studio album, Paramore in 2013. The self-titled album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart and was named "Best Rock Album" by Entertainment Weekly. Paramore features the Top 10 radio hit and platinum single "Still Into You" along with the upcoming single "Ain't It Fun," heading to radio this month. Paramore follows the success of the band's gold-certified debut All We Know Is Falling in 2005, followed by a string of platinum and gold singles.

Special guest, New Politics recently hit top 5 at modern rock radio with their smash "Harlem" and are already top 20 with their new hit "Tonight You're Perfect." They spent 2013 touring sold out venues across the world with the likes of P!nk, 30 Seconds to Mars, Panic! at the Disco and Jane's Addiction.
